HANOI ADVENTURES: PERSONALIZED LEARNING THROUGH EXPLORATION AND CONNECTION
Hanoi Adventures is an innovative experiential program that guides students and their families on a journey through Hanoi’s cultural, historical, and heritage sites. By connecting academic studies to real-world experiences, participants develop essential 21st-century skills in meaningful and memorable ways.
This initiative emphasizes Approaches to Learning (ATLs) through personalized, project-based learning across core subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, Arts, and Social Studies. It fosters creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and a strong connection to Vietnamese culture while encouraging students to explore their passions and embark on a journey to ignite their spark of genius.
The program is designed to:
- Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Develop research and communication skills
- Enhance curiosity and creativity through hands-on learning
- Encourage family participation in the learning journey
How It Works
- From March to June 2025, new families choose three locations from our recommended list in the Hanoi Adventure Guidebooks. Our extensive online resources and guidelines will support families in their self-exploration, ensuring a meaningful and engaging learning experience.
- Students complete learning activities related to different subjects, including Math, Science, English, Arts, and Social Studies.
- Students document their experience through creative projects, reflections, and presentations.
This program encourages students to explore various locations outside of school hours with their families. Parents play an active role by supporting their child's observations, discussions, and reflections.
