We are committed to the development of the whole child, which includes physical well-being. Through classes and a wide range of After-School Activities and athletic teams, students have opportunities to set goals, hone their skills, and excel in both individual and team sports. Dwight Schools has a long-standing scholar-athlete tradition, and is proud to be the first school in the U.S. to be accredited by the World Academy of Sport as an Athlete Friendly Education Center (AFEC). This enables scholar-athletes to balance their commitments to their sport and to their education.

Through a wide range of sports, we develop and extend students’ skills while affording them a chance to experience as many different sports as possible to fuel their athletic sparks of genius. Athletics will play a significant role in our After-School Activities, and students can try out for competitive teams in both Middle and Upper School.
- Two large multi-court sports halls (one for the Lower School and one for the Middle & Upper Schools) for basketball, volleyball, badminton, and other indoor sports
- Indoor aquatics center for swimming and water polo
- Multi-purpose studio for yoga, dance, martial arts, and fencing
- Fitness and weight studio
- Multi-purpose outdoor artificial turf field for outdoor sports (regulation high school soccer size)
