Isolde Rosevear, Director of Library and Media Services - Dwight School Hanoi

Having grown up in international schools herself, Isolde experienced first-hand the impact of vibrant school libraries, treasure troves of stories and knowledge where she could explore freely and learn anything she wished. Those moments of independent discovery shaped her love of reading and her belief in the power of a great school library.

Inspiring a Love of Reading

Today, that passion is kept alive every time she sees the same spark appear in her students, watching them discover new books, browse the shelves with confidence, and follow their curiosity wherever it leads. With over 8,000 books in Dwight’s state-of-the-art libraries, she loves curating themed selections and creating physical and digital displays that help students find titles they might not have discovered on their own.

Libraries as Windows to the World

For Isolde, the library is both a sanctuary and a launchpad, a place where students can explore, question, imagine, and connect with the wider world. Through diverse stories, voices, and perspectives from Vietnam, Africa, Asia, and beyond, she helps students embrace Dwight’s global vision, showing them that knowledge is truly international and that every book can be a new window onto the world.
