The program embraces a tailored approach for each student, acknowledging their individual strengths, weaknesses, learning preferences, and pace. Regardless of their specific characteristics, each Quest Program shares a common goal: creating personalized learning experiences that align with each student's unique needs.
Learning Support
Dwight’s Quest Program provides Learning Support (LS) by working closely with students, teachers, parents, and external experts. This team collaborates to meet each child's diverse learning requirements. We assist students with mild to moderate learning differences, and we identify students eligible for LS occurs during the admission process or through internal referrals. LS provision varies according to each students' specific support needs, including group size, support type, and frequency. Our team develops Tailored Student Learning Plans (SLPs) and prepares regular progress reports based on each student's level of support. Students work directly with dedicated LS specialists who liaise with homeroom teachers, parents, and external specialists.
Our services encompass a wide range of offerings, such as:
- Intensive instruction in reading, writing, spelling, and phonics skills.
- Fundamental mathematics skill development.
- Enhancement of fine motor, gross motor, and graphomotor skills.
- Assistance with organizational skills and executive functioning.
- Collaborative curriculum support, working closely with specialists and teachers.

English Language Learning
With the Quest program, Dwight focuses on educating the whole child. Our English Language Learning (ELL) program is made available to students who benefit from additional time with our expert faculty to support them accessing learning in English. Our ELL program is personalized for each student. We acknowledge students' strengths and weaknesses, as well as their learning style and speed to provide a structured program. Trained and specialist EAL educators then deliver this program to maximize each student’s academic potential.
The content in each of Quest's ELL programs is organized into four interrelated strands:
- Listening and Speaking
- Reading and Writing
- Socio-cultural Competence
- Media Literacy
Effective instructional activities blend expectations from these four strands to provide English language learners with experiences that promote meaningful learning. These activities also help students recognize how language and literacy skills in the four strands overlap and strengthen one another.
Exceptional Talent
The Quest program facilitates flexible learning structures to allow students to pursue exceptional talents. Additionally, Quest provides expert teachers for students who would benefit from enrichment in a specific academic discipline.
