Fees

Tuition fees are based on enrollment at the beginning of the academic year. Adjustments apply for mid-year enrollments.

The one-time Application Fee of 9,800,000 VND is non-refundable and non-transferable. It is payable upon submission of an application to the School. This Fee covers the administrative costs of the application, including a personalized assessment of the child. An application cannot be processed until the Application Fee has been paid. If a student who has applied previously makes a renewed application for a different academic year, a second Application Fee will be due.

The one-time Enrollment Fee of 28,800,000 VND is non-refundable and non-transferable. It is payable within seven (7) days to confirm acceptance of an offered place, along with the Tuition Deposit for New Students. The acceptance of a place is not confirmed until the Enrollment Fee and Tuition Deposit for New Students have been paid. If a student leaves the School and subsequently re-enrolls, a second Enrollment Fee will be due.

Tuition Deposit for New Students

All newly accepted students for the 2026-2027 academic year are required to pay a Tuition Deposit of 30,000,000 VND, payable within seven (7) days to confirm acceptance of an offered place. This payment guarantees a placement for the student, provided all other requirements are met. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. The deposit will be credited against the Tuition Fee for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Tuition Deposit for Returning Students

All current students are required to pay a mandatory Tuition Deposit of 30,000,000 VND to confirm re-enrollment and secure a placement at the School for the next School year by 1st March 2027. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. The deposit will be credited against the Tuition Fee for the 2027-2028 academic year.

The Security Deposit is a one-time payment of 45,000,000 VND per new student, payable along with Tuition and other Fees. This deposit will be refunded upon the student’s graduation or withdrawal from School. Parents must submit written notice at least 60 days prior to the student’s last day at School should they wish to withdraw their child. Failure to provide a 60-day written notice will result in the non-refund of the Security Deposit and Tuition. 

Specialized Learning Support: During the admissions process, students identified as requiring specialized learning support to access the curriculum will receive a conditional offer letter. This condition requires students to participate in the Quest program, which incurs additional fees. Information about the program is available in the School's Quest Summary Document.

Student Devices: iPads are provided for students from Grade 1 to 3, and laptops are provided for Grades 4 and 5 for use within School. For students in Grade 6 onwards, students are required to bring a device that meets the specifications outlined in the School’s Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policy.

Bus Fee: Optional school transportation is available on a one-way or two-way basis upon registration. The Bus Fee is non-refundable & non-transferable. Fees can be paid annually or by semester, as outlined below:

Dining Fee: Dwight School Hanoi provides lunches for all students. The dining fee can be paid annually or by semester, as outlined below:

• 20,500,000 VND (annual payment option), or
• 10,250,000 VND (semester payment option)

Other Fees and Expenses: Students may incur additional costs during the School year, such as: uniform Fee; annual residential field trips, optional trips and tournaments; certain After- School Activities (ASAs) or Clubs; and Fee-based external assessments.

Current students are eligible for the Early Bird Incentive, a 5% additional tuition discount for families who complete the tuition payment for the 2026-2027 academic year by May 31, 2026. This discount will be applied to the total tuition amount paid by that date, whether paid annually or by semester. The Early Bird Incentive may be combined with other available discounts at Dwight School Hanoi, excluding scholarships.

New students are eligible for the 2026-27 Tuition Incentive, Early Bird Incentive, Sibling Incentive and Scholarship opportunities. Kindly refer to the Fees section on the Dwight School Hanoi website for updates on available discounts, incentives, and scholarship programs.

If a child is enrolled into the School after the start of Semester 1, Tuition will be applied according to the table below.

If a student withdraws from the School, the following refund policy will apply:

• It is the parents/guardians’ responsibility to complete the Withdrawal Form and to submit it to the School at least 60 days prior to the student’s last day at School. This will ensure the refund policy is applied and School reports are issued. Failure to provide a 60-day written notice will result in the non-refund of the Security Deposit and Tuition and Fees.
• The School will not refund any portion of the Application Fee, Enrollment Fee, or Tuition Deposit.
• The School will refund a percentage of the Tuition based on the student's last day at School according to the table below, providing that the 60-day written notice of withdrawal has been submitted and all financial liabilities to the School have been settled.

Parents have two payment options for Tuition Fees:

• Option 1: Annual payment. A full academic year’s Tuition Fees paid by 15 July 2026.
• Option 2: Semester payment. Semester 1’s Tuition Fees paid by 15 July 2026. Tuition Fees of Semester 2 paid 30 days prior to the commencement of Semester 2.

Late or No Payments:

Tuition and all other Fees are payable by the due dates indicated on the Tuition bill. Any amount remaining unpaid after the designated due date shall be subject to a late payment penalty of 0.05% per day added to the outstanding balance, unless mutually acceptable arrangements have been made and confirmed in writing with Dwight School Hanoi. Continued failure to pay Tuition and Fees on time may result in the disenrollment of the student, and withholding of the Security Deposit and School reports.

In compliance with Vietnamese Government Regulations on foreign exchange control, all Fees are invoiced in VND and are payable in VND via bank transfer, unless the payment originates outside of Vietnam, in which case a USD bank transfer at the prevailing bank exchange rate is acceptable.

All Fees and terms and conditions are subject to change without notice at the discretion of the School.

All Tuition and Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable regardless of the choice of payment option. Refund procedures will only be applied as stipulated in the Refund policy.
