Beyond the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum, Dwight School Hanoi offers students a range of distinctive opportunities designed to provide greater breadth and depth to their learning and help them pursue their individual interests and talents, their “Spark of Genius.”

As a College Board-accredited school, Dwight School Hanoi provides students with access to AP examinations, offering an opportunity for students who wish to demonstrate advanced subject knowledge. We also offer PSAT and SAT testing on campus.

As part of the global Dwight Schools community, students also have access to unique international programs and competitions that connect them with their peers across Dwight campuses worldwide. These include:

  • The Camerer Essay Competition — A Dwight tradition dating back to 1926, providing students in Grades 9–11 with the opportunity to showcase their personal essay writing
  • Sparkathon — A 48-hour global design challenge that brings teams from across Dwight Schools together to develop innovative solutions to real-world problems.

Together, these opportunities extend learning beyond the classroom, giving Dwight School Hanoi students access to academic, creative, athletic, and global experiences that complement the IB and allow them to challenge themselves, explore their interests, and connect with a truly international community.
